Artists Statement:
"Art has always been a way to express myself without any constraints or limitations. I purposely use my art to show parts of my personality that others may not see when they meet me. My art is bold, loud, saturated with color, very expressive, in your face, and intricately detailed with the use of line work.
Art, biology and music are subjects that I found myself immersed in during my adult life, and I’ve always dreamt of somehow combining the three subjects. The concept of merging different subjects and mediums together has become the basis of how I create my artwork. My current work focuses on combining biology, pop-culture, fine art, and graphic design into a cohesive series that makes the viewer contemplate the meaning of art and the purpose of Pop-culture. My goal is to show a correlation between Pop-Culture, and Biology through art.
Art, Biology, and Pop-Culture are subjects that are studied by huge masses of people who become consumed by it and are ultimately eager to learn how it works and how it could involve them. I ultimately wanted to merge three things in which I’m the most passionate about into beautiful artwork which gives viewers a peek into my mind, and I believe I achieve that with each piece I create."
